Château Dutruch Grand Poujeaux –
Price range: 27,00 € through 295,00 €
The flagship of the estate, Cabernet Sauvignon is the very expression of our terroir. The fruit of a blend dominated by this grape variety in the style of the Médoc’s grands crus, it stands out for its freshness, finesse and elegance. This alchemy is enhanced by the appellation’s historic grape varieties: Merlot, Cabernet Franc and Petit Verdot.

Tasting
In its youth, Château Dutruch Grand Poujeaux presents aromas of fresh, crisp red and black fruits, with subtle toasted and roasted notes. The palate is suave, fresh and precise. Tannins are present but well-integrated, with great persistence.
With age, the aromas evolve towards truffle and menthol notes. We recommend waiting at least 5 years, but the ageing potential is impressive, up to 40 years depending on the vintage.
